About the We-Europeans Project
Populism has been growing strongly throughout Europe for years. Populist parties are clearly represented in parliaments in almost all European countries and many people feel represented by populist theses and movements.
We-Europeans is an EU funded project that aims at countering populism with the values of European citizenship. It builds on a spirit of optimism, designs materials and educational offers that serve the factual and emotional level.
From summer 2022 until the European elections in 2024, we will use this web platform to publish content that informs, encourages reflection, and shows why it is worth standing up for European values. Argumentation aids and learning content will be offered. For actors who are professionally confronted with populism, we offer participation in a community of practice and look forward to a stimulating and open exchange!
We look forward to exchanging ideas with you and to exciting project results. Let us live the European Community together.
