The project & its partnership
About We-Europeans
We-Europeans was an EU-funded cooperation project that developed educational resources to help people understand populism, reflect on European values and respond to populist rhetoric in everyday and professional life.
The project has concluded. Its learning materials and online course remain available.
Understanding populism. Strengthening participation.
The project explored how knowledge, critical thinking and constructive dialogue can support responses to populism. Its approach combined factual information with reflection on the emotions, experiences and concerns that shape political conversations.
We-Europeans addressed both people encountering populism in everyday life and professionals working in education, civil society, politics, media and research. It created opportunities for exchange across countries and professional fields.
